Autoquip Inc., in Menomonee Falls, WI is looking for a passionate, dedicated, and experienced Project Manager to join our team. Autoquip, Inc. is an industrial robotics integrator of modular manufacturing systems and service that installs robots worldwide. This is a full-time, salaried role.


The Project Manager shall be responsible to manage system service projects which are made up of complex systems along with protecting Autoquip’s interests and the customer’s investment. Also responsible to represent our organization to the customer and make sure all aspects of the project (Scope / Schedule / Cost) are managed.

Typical Duties Include, But Are Not Limited To, The Following:

  • Provide Project Management – specifically focused on Robotic and/or Paint application types of projects.
  • Review project requirements and develop timelines to meet project milestones with the project team (internal and external).
  • Establish, monitor, track and maintain the project Open Issues list and Engineering Changes and drive for timely completion.
  • Notify Management (including president if necessary) of critical issues in a timely manner.
  • Participate in monthly project status review meetings by presenting project status to senior management in U.S. and Mexico.
  • Support Sales and Engineering departments with commercial discussions and negotiations.
  • Manage all aspects of the projects including Scope / Schedule / Cost). This includes eliminating scope creep / delivering on-time and under budget.
  • Report project progress and financial health on a regular basis as required by management.
  • Work with internal and external resources to ensure smooth project execution with a focus on preventing issues. When issues do arise, the Project Manager must arrange proper action to minimize the impact to Autoquip and our customers.
  • Prepare quotations for the above types of projects on time. This includes providing technical assistance to the sales team during the proposal phase of the projects.
  • Work within the Autoquip team to optimize processes and products to make us more efficient.


Basic Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma AND 5 years of engineering, design, or project/product management, or supervisor-level experience; OR
  • Associate’s Degree AND 3 years of engineering, design, or project/product management, or supervisor-level experience; OR
  • Bachelor’s Degree AND 2 years of engineering, design, or project/product management, or supervisor-level experience; OR

Preferred Qualifications

  • BA/BS degree in Engineering
  • 5+ years of engineering, design, or project/product management experience
  • 2+ years of experience in managing projects – preferably in the Robotic Painting Industry
  • Experience with Engineering or Project Management in robotics and Fluid Management
  • Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously.
  • AutoCAD / SolidWorks or 3D Cad equivalent / Excel / broad engineering knowledge is important.
  • Strong verbal and written communication

$65,000 – $75,000 annual salary, depending on experience
